Vehicles in German City Found Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Police mentioned they were notified by a man who noticed a vehicle in Hanau smeared with reddish fluid

Around 50 vehicles have been smeared with what seems to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a resident noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered many other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say preliminary tests show the fluid was probably human blood.

"Currently there is no lead as to its origin; investigators are currently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the incident," they added.

Municipal representatives announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the residents for information.

A senior representative commented the vandalism made him stunned and had to be resolved rapidly.

"This incident strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on online, referring to the death of nine victims by a assailant focusing on people of immigrant origin in February 2020.
